Mission Statement

To promote the science of podiatric medicine and the betterment of public health through an annual scientific seminar of continuing education and other professionally orientated instructions in the form of lectures, workshops and roundtable discussions for the podiatric physician.

The expected results of these educational activities will enhance the learners’ knowledge and competence, and ultimately improve patient outcomes.

Approval

The Alabama Podiatric Medical Association is approved by the Council on Podiatric Medical Education as a provider of continuing education in podiatric medicine. The Alabama Podiatric Medical Association has approved this activity for a maximum of 25 continuing education contact hours.

Continuing Education Contact Hours

Registration and payment does not automatically result in the issuance of CECH credits. You must sign in as designated each day to receive CECH credits. Failure to sign-in as designated will result in a loss of CECH credits. Certificates will be issued in approximately 4 weeks. The Seminar Evaluation Form must be completed and turned in prior to issuing your certificate.

Successful completion of the entire program will provide 25 CME contact hours to the attendee. Each physician should claim only the hours that he or she spent in the activity.

Intended Audience

Podiatric Physicians are the intended audience of this program.

Refund Policy

In the event the Alabama Podiatric Medical Association must cancel this seminar, full tuition refunds will be issued. There will be no refunds for cancellations made. Instead, a “certificate of transfer” will be issued, redeemable for next year’s conference.
